From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed and well cared for. The tents were beautifully appointed, very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.

About Victoria Falls River Lodge
The spacious luxury safari tents of Victoria Falls River Lodge are nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, one of the most famous rivers in the world.
The main lodge has an open plan design and has been positioned just back from the river - in view of the elephants' natural evening route. Sit back and sip on a cocktail, under the shade of the thatched roof, as the elephants graze along the river line. It's a cool escape from the African sun.
Victoria Falls River Lodge takes relaxation on step further offering a selection of in-room massages, pedicures and manicures. They also offer a tour desk and a gift shop with an exclusive selection of high quality arts and crafts from talented local Zimbabwean artists.
Each tent has been tastefully decorated in earthy hues and offers a larger than king size bed, freestanding bath, comfortable seating area, indoor and outdoor showers as well as a private viewing deck where one can sit and watch the hippos wallowing. The only thing resembling a tent in these 5 star rooms is the canvas on the outside.
There are three family suites which offer an additional tented room, with one single bed and one bunk bed. Three children can sleep here comfortably, allowing their parents a bit more privacy.
Victoria Falls River Lodge is in a Zimbabwe National Park that is called the Zambezi National Park which is just few kilometres up the Zambezi River from Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is home to over 75 species of fish and is famous for its bream and fighting tiger fish.
Most of the National Park is woodland and a lot of large mammals can be seen. You are likely to see elephant, buffalo, leopard and lion as well as herds of eland, zebra, antelope, kudu, giraffe, impala and waterbuck.
