About Stanley & Livingstone
Taking a contemporary stance on classic colonial style, the Stanley & Livingstone is Victoria Falls' first luxury boutique hotel. Set just a stones throw from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Victoria Falls, this hotel sits within beautiful landscaped gardens with an uninterrupted view of a watering hole, and therefore limitless game-viewing. The elevated gourmet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and also has a spectacular view over the grounds.
With an abundance of activities in the area, you are bound to never get bored. From game drives, to helicopter tours, sunset cruises to ziplining Victoria Falls has something for everyone.
Located within the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve, just 10 minutes from the Victoria Falls â one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
How to get there
Fly into either Victoria Falls International Airport or Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, and from there complimentary shared shuttles can be arranged to take you to the hotel.
Alternatively a shuttle can be arranged to pick you up from the train station in Victoria Falls town.
When to go
The greatest volume of flowing water over the falls tends to be between February to May, making this the best time to visit Victoria Falls.
October to the end of November is the end of the dry winter period, meaning that this is the least impressive time to visit as water flow is at its weakest and there wonât be a misty spray.
A UK passport holder needs a visa to enter Zimbabwe. It is possible to get one through the Zimbabwean embassy in London, or upon arrival in Zimbabwe. If you decide to get one upon arrival, make sure to take enough small notes to pay with.
Check with a health professional in the UK about necessary vaccinations and medical protocols.
Travelling with children
Children of all ages are welcome, with child minding available at an extra cost.
