The name Zanzibar conjures up exotic and romantic images. Zanzibar Island is an archipelago made up of Zanzibar and Pemba Island, and several islets. Zanzibar Island is located in Indian Ocean, about 40km from the Tanzanian coast. Zanzibar Island, known locally as Unguja, is 96km long and 32km wide, occupying a total area of approximately 1040 square km. Zanzibar Island has beautiful sandy beached with fringing coral reefs and the magic of historic Stone Town - the only functioning ancient town in East Africa.

Zanzibar International Airport is also named Kisauni Airport and is located approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 miles) south of Stone Town
Daily flights from all major East African airports such as Kilimanjaro, Nairobi, Arusha, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam
For guests arriving into Dar Es Salaam airport, domestic flights are very convenient and time efficient, with a flying time of just 20 minutes, while there is also the option of the ferry.

Children under the age of 2 are free of charge and must share with 2 adults.
Children between the age of 2-12 are 50% of the adult rate when sharing with 2 adults.
Children under 12 years of age who are occupying their own room pay 75% of the per person sharing rate.
