A central living room with spectacular sea front view, large plunge pool, outdoor daybed lounging area, outdoor dining area and terrace with sun loungers. The Presidential Suite also features a small kitchenette and a small separate guest toilet. There is also a separate, self-contained accommodation for maid or butler, if they are travelling with the guest.

Location

The name Zanzibar conjures up exotic and romantic images, Zanzibar Island is an archipelago made up of Zanzibar and Pemba Island, and several islets. Zanzibar Island is located in Indian Ocean, about 40km from the Tanzanian coast. Zanzibar Island, known locally as Unguja, is 96km long and 32km wide, occupying a total area of approximately 1040 square km. Zanzibar Island has beautiful sandy beached with fringing coral reefs and the magic of historic Stone Town – the only functioning ancient town in East Africa.

Baraza lies on the south eastern coast of the island of Zanzibar, along the award winning Bwejuu beach, recently voted by the prestigious top travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveller as one of the top 30 island beaches in the world.

Approximately a 50 minute drive from the airport or Stone Town and ten minutes drive from the village of Bwejuu. The Resort is situated on a 240 metre stretch of fine sand beach, with a coral reef facing the beach that runs down the eastern shore of Zanzibar.
