Kafue National Park

Zambia

Kafue National Park, named after the Kafue River, is the largest and oldest national park in Zambia, covering an area of about 22,400 km². It is the second-largest park in Africa and is home to over 55 different species of animals. However, despite its prominent location, the majority of the park is unknown and largely undiscovered, making it one of our most exciting bush destinations. The main road between Lusaka and Mongu runs through the park, dividing it into northern and southern sectors, allowing an incredible amount of wildlife to be seen even from the main road! This road also allows for a highly accessible park when travelling by car.
