Chindeni Bushcamp

South Luangwa National Park

Unquestionably one of the most beautiful camps in the South Luangwa National Park, this collection of tented huts stands at the edge of Chayumba lagoon, where you can often spot hippo and elephant washing and drinking from the water. You can’t help but feel a thrill of adventure sleeping under a canvas cover, listening to the nocturnal animal kingdom as you wind down after a long day of safari. The central lounge and dining area looks over the lagoon, surrounded by vast ebony trees, and is home to a fully stocked bar. Each tent is kitted out with wooden floors, four-poster beds and en suite bathrooms so there’s no need to compromise comfort for camping. Chindeni Bushcamp is the perfect spot to kick back and relax on your private veranda where the animal spotting is never-ending, or chuck on your walking boots and take a guided tour through the bush.
