Possibly my favourite bushcamp ever. Absolutely beautiful scenery, with incredible staff and spectacular game. I loved watching elephants at the watering hole from my balcony.

About Bilimungwe Bushcamp
Set under the covers of a vast mahogany tree, this shaded group of open-fronted thatched chalets are placed around three waterholes, Bilimungwe's very own wildlife magnets. Built up on stilts, grab a G&T from the bar and unwind, watching the enviable display of birds and animals around you. Take a tour with Bilimungwe's resident tour guide Manda Chisanga, winner of the remarkable Wanderlust Guide of the Year, who will run you through all there is to know about Zambiaâs fauna and flora.
This nature-lovers paradise definitely doesn't ask you to compromise comfort. Each of the spacious, airy chalets is furbished in order to tastefully echo the quintessential bushcamp feel. The beautiful wooden furniture is handmade by local artisans and seamlessly blends the interior, with the exterior. After a day of wandering through the bush, spotting wildlife, kick off your boots and take a refreshing wash in your open-air waterfall shower.

Travelling with children
Children of 12 years and older are welcome
As children under 12 years of age are not allowed to go on walking safaris in the Park, families travelling with children aged 11 years and below will need to reserve the entire camp on a private basis and also hire a Private Guide & Vehicle for the duration of their stay. This enables the adults to go on walking safaris while the younger children can go on game drives with the guide in the extra vehicle.
