Throughout Vietnam there are many reminders and sites to visit relating to the Vietnam war in which the North fought the South government ending in the fall of Saigon (Ho Chi Minh). You can visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hao Lo Prison and the Cu Chi Tunnels all of which played an extremely important part in the Vietnam War. The culture throughout Vietnam is still affected by the War which triggered the Khmer Rouge to strike on Cambodia.

Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnamese: Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh), commonly known as Saigon (Vietnamese: Sài Gòn) or by the abbreviations HCMC or HCM, is the largest city in Vietnam and the former capital of the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam).
Nha Trang is Vietnam’s most famous seaside town. It's more lively and urban in character than other beach destinations like Mui Ne and Phu Quoc. It's also the scuba diving center of Vietnam.
The bay is famous for its scenic ocean karst topography and is often included in lists of natural wonders of the world.
Hoi An is on the central coast of Vietnam known mainly for its UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An Ancient Town. The town is a mixture of eras bringing in French colonial style buildings, Vietnamese tube houses and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and Pagoda.
