How to get there
Flights to Stockholm from London Heathrow are approximately two and a half hours long. From Stockholm you then take an internal flight to Lulea. The flight time is approximately 70 minutes and there are several flights a day to and from Lulea.
From Lulea airport you will then be taken to the Treehotel by private transfer. There is also the possibility of transferring from Lulea to the Treehotel by helicopter.
When to go
Treehotel is open all year round. There is a variety of summer and winter activities for all ages. During the summer months you will be able to do water sports on the lake, go hiking through the forests looking for bears and explore the landscape on horseback just to name a few of the summer time activities available. The winter months brings with it the snow and cooler weather conditions. This is the perfect time to see the northern lights, go snowshoeing and riding through the forests. You will also be able to go dog sledging.
Due to the different climate conditions experienced in the Arctic circle, it is important to be aware of the weather conditions you will experience during your stay at the Treehotel. We will happily advise you on the best suited clothing for the time of the year you wish to visit the Treehotel.
Travelling with children
All children are welcome to stay at the Treehotel. Some activities will have an age limit due to the level of skill or strength required.
