About Ani Villas
Imagine a luxury resort; picture the entire facilities exclusive to yourself. This is what Ani Villas creates. Created by by Reda Amalou and AW2 of Paris, this 15-suite estate aims to combine contemporary tropical architecture with beautiful bespoke furnishings, with comfort and ease a priority. At Ani Villas, the activities are endless with many of them at no additional charge, so indulge in anything from cooking classes, to personal training and aqua aerobics.
The estate is divided into two Villas, each with its own oceanfront pool, separate children's pool and slide, bar, dining sala, library, cafe and games/TV room. Due to the exclusivity of the resort, it acts as the perfect venue for celebrations and events, with reception and dining facilities for up to 60 guests.
Ani Villas is set on the beautiful south coast of the island, just a ten minute drive from Dickwella, a small coastal market town.
How to get there
A 3.5 hour drive from Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport, a round-trip airport transfer is included.
When to go
The weather in south Sri Lanka is at its best between December and March, and the monsoon tends to hit between April and May. The temperature remains fairly constant throughout the year, staying between 26-30'C. However, despite the seasons, the weather doesnât tend to follow strict trends.
All visitors travelling to Sri Lanka must have an electronic travel authorisation (ETA), unless they are able to present a valid Sri Lankan passport. The ETA costs Â£35 and is generally issued within 5 days of purchase. Apply online on the official government website.
All visitors should be medically insured. It is advisable to know your blood group type in case of an emergency. Please do ask for up to date health advice in your home country.
Please be sensitive when photographing local people and their villages. Ask first. Be careful when photographing public buildings and persons in uniform - again, ask first.
