La Digue is the third largest inhabited island of the Seychelles in terms of population, lying east of Praslin and west of Felicite Island. There is no airport on La Digue, in fact, there aren’t any vehicles either, making this the ultimate laid back island retreat. The island is accessed via ferries from Mahe and Praslin, making it ideal for a two or three night stay, or even just a day trip by boat. La Digue is the Seychelles as it always was, untouched and totally unspoiled. The island is home to a variety of comfortable yet simple hotels, and is perhaps most fitting for those who are looking for a more authentic Seychelles experience.
