When to go
The best time to visit Oman is between November and mid-March, when the cooler air clears the haze bringing the mountain scenery sharply into focus and daytime temperatures average 25°C. It is the perfect location for some 'winter sun'.
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Oman.
British nationals donât need to get a visa before travelling to Oman. You can get a visa on arrival at any land, sea or air entry port in the country.
A one-month tourist visa costs Omani Rials (OMR) 20. You can extend this by 30 days for a further OMR20.
Travelling with children
Children are welcome at Six Senses Zighy Bay. There is a kids club called 'Chaica's Club' that offers plenty of activities including snorkelling, water polo, tennis, crab hunting, sandcastle building and educational activities such as learning about the local environment and marine life.
