This was my second time at Dar Darma and it didn't disappoint. This riad in the old town has the wow factor!

About Dar Darma
Dar Darma is an 18th century mansion rising in the ancient Moqf district, at the very core of the Marrakech Medina and close to famous Jemaa El-Fna square, the city's beating heart, a few steps away from the Marrakech Museum and the Medersa Ben Youssef Koranic School. Dar Darma offers complete privacy and very elegant atmosphere.
The mansion was fully restored with its authentic interior carefully preserved: hand-painted wood vaults, precious plaster casts and ancient gates. Six superbly furnished, finely decorated penthouses offer halls with fireplaces, one or two bedrooms and private bathrooms. There are large hallways and open patios, a traditional hammam and terraces with shady lounges. For the heat of the day there's a swimming pool and guests enjoy a breathtaking view stretching up to the Koutoubia, the Dar El Bacha Palace and the Atlas mountains. Thanks to a custom-made, 24/7 service provided by the staff, Dar Darma is an ideal place for demanding travellers searching for unique style and high quality service.
Overlooking the green patio, thanks to refined interiors and beautiful combinations of shapes and colours, the Moroccan Lounge, the Fireplace Lounge and the Hall of Arches are ideal places to relax, read or listen to music and enjoy the delicacies of the house. Lunches and dinners are prepared by an expert cook and can be consumed in the privacy of your own suite or on the terraces.
Dar Darma is located in the Medina of Marrakech. Just few steps from both the Museum and Koranich School Medersa Ben Youssef. The souk entrance is just round the corner. The area is quiet. One of the most famous restaurant is on the same street (Le Foundouk). Also the Photography Museum is close.
