Wilderness Linkwasha

Hwange National Park

The camp is an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors and Ndebele culture. The nine luxurious tents (eight twin and one family) overlook the scenic plain and water hole, which makes for fantastic game viewing. The main area includes various multi-level decks, amongst them, a cosy library and winter lounge complete with fireplace and shaded salas surrounding an inviting pool and sun deck. The camp’s nearby romantic Star Bed looks onto an active waterhole. The camp also comprises of a 5 star restaurant where the focus is on fresh and light meals in the warmer months and for lunch, with soups and warming seasonal dishes in the colder season. The pizza oven is a favourite for lunch. For those wanting to enjoy romantic dinners alone there is also the option of private dining in several areas.

Reasons we love Wilderness Linkwasha

  • A raised network of walkways lead from the main area to seven luxury rooms, all overlooking a vast expanse of open savanna
  • Some of the best guiding in Southern Africa is found at this lodge
  • The camp has an underground hide on the water hole so you can get closer to the elephants
