About Hoshinoya Tokyo
Hoshinoya Tokyo is in a fantastic location in the business district of Otemachi, between Tokyo station and the Imperial Palace. The hotel inhabits the entire 18-storey building. The grand facade and dramatic entrance are complemented by seasonal flower displays, paper screens and aromatic Japanese wood throughout. Hoshinoya is full of surprising, personal and intimate qualities, that are all deeply rooted in traditional Japanese hospitality.
Hoshinoya is unique in that each floor is an exclusive domain, and only accessible by the guests staying on that floor. Each floor has dedicated staff that will help ensure that every need is met - as well as to help maintain the elegant customs that have been honoured for centuries in traditional Japanese inns known as ryokans.
The 17th floor is home to the onsen baths, the hot spring waters flow from 1500m beneath the hotel. There is also a Japanese inspired treatment spa.
Hoshinoya Tokyo is located in Otemachi, the business district of the city, close to Tokyo station.

When to go
Tokyo can be visited year round. January and February are the coldest months, with the occasional snow, and July and August can get very humid. Spring and Autumn are the perfect seasons to visit this city, with pleasant climates, as well as a chance to see the beautiful changing colours of the trees.
The risks to health whilst travelling will vary between individuals and many issues need to be taken into account, e.g. activities abroad, length of stay and general health of the traveller.
