About Gora Kadan
Gora Kadan is a traditional Japanese ryokan set in the heart of Hakone National Park. This tranquil retreat is located in an area famous for its natural springs, which are heated by volcanic rocks. It is located on the grounds of a former summer villa of a member of the Imperial family. All the rooms and suites are designed in a minimalist style.
The chefs serve traditional 'Kaiseki' cuisine by Japanese traditional service 'Omotenashi', generally in your own room. 'Kaiseki' balances taste, texture, appearance and colour of food.
Gora Kadan has three wells from which mineral rich, hot spring water flows and feeds the open-air baths. The minerals contained in the spring water are thought to have many beneficial health qualities.
A variety of massage treatments are available in the traditional Japanese rooms, as well as a fitness facilities, a pool and jacuzzi.
Gora Kadan is located in the Hakone National Park.
