The hotel promotes sustainable tourism, is ecologically friendly, provides high levels of service and a faultless Ranthambhore experience. There is an attention to detail and thoughtfulness with Sher Bagh that is rare to find.
At Sher Bagh they have always believed in getting the freshest produce and making as much as they can from scratch in their homely kitchens. This is why they have their own on-site dairy that supplies the hotel with milk and their very own organic herb and vegetable garden. When to go
Rajasthan has some major climactic fluctuations. During December, January and February, it can be very cold in the mornings and evenings and warm clothes are necessary at these times. During the daytime it is lovely and warm and sunny. March and April are getting fairly hot and it begins to get humid in June and temperatures can rise to an intense and uncomfortable heat. The monsoon breaks in July and lasts until September. October and November are still warm but not cold or wet. The best time to visit is from October to April. It is generally a dry heat with very little humidity, except during the months of September and early October.
NOTE: It is very cold in the early mornings when going
gameviewing during the months of late November to
February and warm jackets and woollens/thermals are
essential at this time.
