About Raas Jodhpur
Raas Jodhpur is located in the prominent north-eastern quarter of the famous Walled City, based around an original eighteenth century Haveli. Echoes of the Rajput design can be found all through the building, in everything from its unpredictably cut stone boards to its antique shrines to the curves getting by from the stables. The rose-red modern architecture interspersed the entire original building. The Darikhana, also known as the 'Chamber of Carpets', was built towards the end of the eighteenth century and served as the Haveli's guest-house.
Raas is the first boutique hotels in Jodhpur. Fusion of modern and ancient style gives the hotel its signature look, and the courtyard has become a tranquil haven away from the bustle of Jodhpurâs old town. The hotel includes four unique structures with three extra contemporary structures, impacted by and adding to its cultural past as a feature of the Walled City.
