Seasons in India
Embedded in a picturesque, sun- dappled, brushwood forest, this Mughal- style tented camp is the perfect combination of luxury and nature. Positioned for utmost privacy, each of the tents offers beautiful living space and all are decorated with classic furnishings.
The dining area is wonderfully lit by the lamps and the moonlit barbeques, campfires and finest food, prepared with the vegetables from the resort's organic garden, will truly provide you with an unforgettable experience.
The camps position, perched on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, is the perfect place to spot tigers. It is also home to crocodiles, leopards, jackals, sambar deer and some 300 species of bird.
The park is also the setting for one of India's oldest forts Ranthambore Fort as well as the dramatic Khandar Fort. Camel safaris through villages on the parks outskirts are available, as are bird-watching treks in the lush Banas riverbed
On the fringes of the Ranthambore National Park, Aman-i-Khás is within reach of Delhi (DEL) and Jaipur (JAI) airports.
How to get there
From Delhi, guests can travel to Aman-i-Khás by train, car, or helicopter. The train from Delhi takes just under four hours and drops guests off at Sawai Madhopur station, on the outskirts of the park. On arrival in Sawai Madhopur, guests are taken on the 15-minute journey to the camp itself in an open, jeep-style vehicle. The trip from Jaipur is approximately 3 1/2 hours by car and transfers are available. The drive from Delhi by car is around 7 hours.
When to go
In summer and post monsoon months, days and nights are mild. Although it can get quite cold at night during the height of the winter months (December and January), days are crisp and sunny.
