Day 1 - 3: Dublin, Ireland

  • Be fascinated by local stories in Temple Bar
  • Try a pint of Guinness from its very own hometown

The lively Irish capital holds the reputation as the country’s historical, literary and cultural hub.

Begin your Irish journey in buzzing Dublin with two nights at The Westbury. Explore the famous Temple Bar area and be enchanted by the old Irish custom of storytelling and typical dance performances. Go on a private tour of The Old Trinity College Library to see the Book of Kells, one of the oldest and most famous books in the world. Spend time admiring Saint Patrick’s Cathedral before sitting down for lunch with the Dean himself. In the evening, we can arrange a ticket for you at the Irish Film Institute; relax in this cosy theatre with a glass of wine in your hand.

Day 3 - 5: Limerick, Ireland

  • Trot through the estate’s grounds on an Irish Sport Horse
  • Visit the striking Cliffs of Moher

A charming city filled with medieval architecture, Georgian townhouses, and a growing food scene – the West Coast of Ireland is the classic image of Ireland from fairy tales.

Drive from Dublin to Limerick for two nights at Adare Manor, located on a 840-acre estate and the perfect base to explore Ireland’s South West Coast. During your stay, we can book you a table at the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant which showcases the best of Irish produce. From here, take a drive over to the famous Cliffs of Moher for hairraising ocean views. Back at the Manor, hop on a bike and explore Limerick’s lush countryside. To cover more ground, the staff can arrange for you to take the reins and go on a cross-country hack with one of the manor’s horses.

Day 5 - 7: Kerry, Ireland

  • Stay on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Irish coastline full of hidden beaches and coves
  • Hold a hawk at the lodge’s dedicated falconry

A rugged and authentic Irish county, Kerry is home to spectacular driving routes and scenic coastal villages.

Travel down to Kerry where you’ll be spending two nights at Sheen Falls Lodge. With views over the picturesque Sheen Falls on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, you’ll never be more than a few steps from exhilarating outdoor activities. Grab a helmet and bike along the estate’s lush forest trails or hop in kayaks with a guide at Killarney National Park. For a hands-on experience with the hawks, include a visit to Sheen’s falconry. Or we can arrange for you to go on a deep sea angling trip at Dingle Bay.

Day 7 - 9: Ballyfin, Ireland

  • See the breeding centre for some of the world’s most magnificent horses
  • Relax by the roaring log fire in the library, holding over 5,000 books

Located in the centre of Ireland, far from the sea, this is where the greenery of Ireland is most wonderful.

Drive north to County Laois, where you’ll spend two nights at Ballyfin. Considered one of the most lavish homes in Ireland, stroll through the estate’s immaculate gardens or admire artwork from some of the most influential Irish artists. Let us arrange a morning of archery where you can practice shooting gold, or test your skills at the hotel’s air-rifle range. For a memorable day out, venture to the Irish National Stud to see the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry or drop by a local distillery for a spot of whisky tasting before returning to a warm fire.

Day 9 - 11: Belfast, Northern Ireland

  • Stand in the same spot from which the RMS Titanic took off
  • Lose yourself in one of the oldest markets in Ireland, Saint George’s Market

Belfast’s reputation as a top global destination has been growing in recent years, due to its thriving art and music scene.

Cross the border as you drive into Northern Ireland to finish your trip in Belfast. Whilst in the country’s capital you’ll spend two nights at The Merchant Hotel. During your stay, we can arrange tickets to a show at one of Belfast’s many theatres, from the Grand Opera House to the Waterfront Hall. Jump in the car for a day trip to Giant’s Causeway to see the incredible basalt columns leftover from an ancient volcanic eruption. For a touch of culture, wander down to the dockyards to see the birthplace of the RMS Titanic and where it embarked on its fateful voyage.
