Arctic Treehouse Hotel

Built on a forested hillside on the Arctic Circle, the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel, is a collection of rectangular chalets, fashioned like treehouses with wide north-facing windows, is an ingenious design to combine comfort with the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights. Fortunately, it is also a great base for other Arctic pursuits. Guests are offered hot drinks by a fireplace on arrival, before being driven to their suites from the reception area. Clothing for extreme winter conditions – temperatures can drop below minus 30 centigrade in the depths of winter – can also be loaned.
